Long Time, No Post!

Well life has picked up and so has the photography business.  I have had a blast getting the Aphrodite Collection going as well as shooting friend and country artist, Sydney Hutchko for her upcoming EP!


Here are a couple of my favorite shots from my shoot with Syd...there are just too many favorites to choose from!

 

We had so much fun and I am looking forward to shooting her again as well as playing with her band again this summer :)

Also, I had a busy week taking and editing the first shots for the Aphrodite Collection, my collection of Vintage Boudoir photos! I am so excited to get up and running.

Also, I went and visited the abandoned Beverly Hills Hotel located off of Babcock Blvd. It looks like it was quite the place to be back in the day! I would have loved to see the people bustling in and out, I can imagine just how neat it was. The remains were really great and hopefully I will have a partner in crime and will venture inside on my next visit.

The Wheels are turning...

On a more artsy note I was thinking about how many people are defined by their habits...do you order the same cup of coffee every time you stop at Starbucks, do you always go the same way to work or do you change your path sometimes, do you listen to the same song each time you want to invoke a certain mood? 

Change is such a huge part of our world but there are so many constants.  I think a photo project showcasing this would be an interesting social experiement, a ton of fun and make for some really cool photos.

One step at a time...

I have started some small scale advertising on craiglist today with a Pet Photo special!  Also registered my domain kbsphotos.com and ordered business cards!

The beginning of something wonderful...

As my travels in life have taken me from one path to another I found myself in the middle of a hobby I loved.  I decided to make that hobby my new profession and share my passion for life with everyone around me.

A little about myself...I am a wife, sister, daughter and friend.  I wake up with a smile on my face nearly every day.  I love sunshine, yoga, triathlons, animals and anything that encompasses the spirit of life!
